When you selecting the jewelries for the deb, just remember the first rule: Don't overdo it.

It's tempting to load up on baubles and bling, but you don't want all those little metals to outshine you on the day. Here some tips to help you picking up the jewelries for the deb.

For a white debutante gown, something in white, clear or silver would be a great choice. We suggest sticking to pearl and platinum. If your gown is in off white or soft white color, such as ivory gown, adorn yourself with light white jewelry to highlight the creamy tint of the fabric.

Do not forget about the necklines of your gown when you choosing the deb jewelries.

For the sweetheart or strapless gowns: Try some clear crystal chandelier earrings instead of necklace. For V-neckline deb dresses, a thin chain with a simple pendant is an elegant way to accessorize, while pearls (single- or double-stranded) exude classic charm or a crystal hair clip with matching earrings could be the perfect combo. For halter neckline dress, try adding some sparkle to your hair with crystal hairpins or a simple tiara will be great.

The most important thing about picking the perfect jewelries for your debutante gown is that they are a reflection of you. If you're not comfortable wearing chandelier earrings, stick to studs.
